People ask ‘why the flamingo?”

Well, the flamingo is a filter feeder. It’s beak evolved to filter out all the dirt from the water and only consume the algea nd shrimp it eats. In turn, this food is what imparts the pink of the flamingos feathers, otherwise they would be white. When thinking about my cafe, I want to ensure I filter out any poor quality ingredients and only use the best for my community so that we can be as vibrant and colourful as this cheerful, whimsical bird; and if we’re lucky, maybe one day we’ll all turn pink.
